I don't necessarily expect to have an audience to read this diary. Just in case it will happen and anybody will read this personal diary, it's my this coming new year (2011) resolution to keep a daily brief journal of my life. I attempted this in the past, but for many reasons, I didn't persist with it. Hopefully, this time, I'll. I have started it with this introduction at the eve of the new year 2011, 31 Dec 10.
Today, I've been mainly tidying up, read a bit of Obama's dreams from his father! helped Cory a bit with gardening, cycled and deposited AHEAD's £490 at HSBC bank and Coral's money at Natwest; collected refund from Waterstone on an unwanted child's book; offered the British Heart Foundation Charity shop our old piano, which they refused to have. I've checked emails and opened this blog/diary.
Jaal is at the Cinema with friends, Eebs with Cory shopping, swimming etc!
The weather is cloudy, 6oC. The neighbourhood is very quiet.
Jaal came back 6ish after enjoying the Harry Potter latest film. Corry & Eebbs returned with shoppings, which included pizzas, garlic bread and nice grinks - juice and Cava. We decided not to go away for the new year, instead have a nice meal at home and the children could also watch the brand new flat screen TV we bough today (31 Dec 10) for the 1st time! We also watch a DVD "Mission Impossible" all snuggled in C&my bed; followed by watching the TV for the count down to the new year just before middnight and afterward for a while. The fireworks in Central London broadcast over the telly was spectacle. Actually we thought was over the top for a country which is supposed to taking austery measures to come out of bankers' recession. My suggestion of we all sleep together on Ebs's floor as our bed wasn't big enough didn't succeed. Jaal had cold and she went to her bed. Ebs stack between C & me for the 2nd night in a raw, claiming that it's too cold too sleep by himself. He wriggles like a mad, but complains about his mum's snoring! What about poor me who has to bear the numberless sleepless nights for the last decade and a half! The good news is I've just ordered a "sonremender", which apparently stops snoring straightway! I can't believe that until I see it. It has 90 days money back guarantee! The note on the company's website (http://www.soneremenders.co.uk/) says "Unfortunately, due to bad weather, delivery time could be 9-11 days!" Well, I can wait that long, given that my problem is solved for good! Read Obama a bit more, planned tomorrow's day out and bed!
